Welcome

Welcome to Francis Bacon Maths and Computing College. We are delighted to be able to introduce you to our thriving and contemporary school.

In recent years we have witnessed a revolution in the way we teach and learn. We have built upon our reputation for excellence across the curriculum and, thanks to our Specialist Maths and Computing College status, we have been able to ensure that the whole school benefits from the very latest technology.

We are committed to providing education that gives students skills to rely upon for life. Whatever courses or careers our students choose to pursue, we make sure that they leave here with a strong basis for success. The forward-looking education we provide combined with the caring atmosphere of our school gives every student the help, support, opportunities and motivation they need to get the very best from their studies.

At Francis Bacon we strive to discover new, diverse and interesting ways to make the education we provide even more successful and dynamic. Our modern facilities and deep understanding of students’ individual needs help us to provide first-class teaching and learning from Year 7 to Year 13.
